Optimization of cutting forces and surface roughness via ANOVA and grey relational analysis in machining of In718

Abstract Machinability and optimization are the two objectives of researchers who guide us to enhance manufacturing industry. Examining analyzing parameters such as surface roughness, tool wear, cutting force during processing would be beneficial that used in various fields industires. This study examined effect forces roughness on material surface. Experimental studies were carried out by using constant feed rate (0.1 mm/rev), depth cut (1 mm), three different coolants (CO 2 , minimum quantity lubrication, dry), speeds (100, 140, 180, 220 m/min). In this study, grey relational analysis modeling relationships between F x y z Inconel 718 material, which is an important alloy aviation, examined. The influence machinability top R a was calculated variance analysis, determined speed most significant machining parameters.
